EvariLUX developed a digital twin of the City’s existing municipal streetlight system to aide in decisions regarding not only the need for additional lights citywide, but to help in selecting a manufacturer for the City’s LED retrofit efforts. By displaying side-by-side comparisons of illumination scenarios with two different lighting manufacturers, EvariLUX enabled Pittsburgh to visualize the impact of each option, helping staff make informed decisions about potential upgrades to achieve optimal safety and efficiency.
