Evari developed a comprehensive 3D GIS-based digital twin of the city’s roadway lighting, enabling a detailed analysis of underlit areas. This digital twin also displayed  supplemental  datasets of collision history, pedestrian crosswalks, bicycle facilities, roadway information, and sensitive habitat locations to support informed decision-making and respond to community concerns around lighting. The resulting dataset allows the city to easily identify areas needing enhanced or adjusted lighting, optimize fixture selection, and align lighting with public safety, environmental, and energy goals.
